Our tamed smaller brethren

A girlfriend left for the weekend and asked me to feed the cat.

I came today, but he hasn’t eaten anything since the day before yesterday; he just lies and yearns.

Seeing me, he was scared at first. As I flung open the fridge, he immediately ran in and meowed, just like they usually do.

And then, having eaten some fresh meal, he lay down under a chair and grew sad again.

So much for independent cats for you.
