Security cameras

Since I returned to Belarus I just can't get used to the huge number of security cameras everywhere.

And today I was thinking about and realized the cams are usually installed to save money on security, i.e. reduce the number of guards.

But in my country security cameras are stuck every two steps and there is a dozen cops per square meter.

I'm just wondering when it will be ended?
