South America 2013-2014
I really don’t know where to start.
This was my third "long journey" and the first one for such a long time (9 months).
It all started spontaneously. There was no plan. There was only a ticket for the plane with a silver wing, a hotel room reservation for two days and two hundred bucks in the pocket.
I have no idea what I was thinking when I was going on the road on the road. I only remember how my brain was constantly turned off when I tried to somehow think of future actions. I was just constantly in a stupor.
Nevertheless that trip was my great success! The set Napoleonic goal of course was not achieved, but for the first time the events experienced will come down. I got a tremendous experience. And how many emotions!
I would also like to note that South America is completely different from my usual civilization. Even Southeast Asia was not so shocking to me as Sudamerica. Therefore I photographed everything in a row :D

Still on this side of the ocean
As everybody knows a flight from Minsk is not cheap at all. So as before I bought a train ticket to Moscow and hit the road from my hometown Grodno saying goodbye to Mommy...
First day
Yet in Belarus I booked a hotel near the historical part in the center of Panama City. As it turned out later this was the only positive characteristic of this so-called hotel, although rather a motel or a brothel.
First date
In addition to the old city, there are other streets and people in Panama City. One of them asked me out on a date and this is what happened.

Beautiful Colombian nature
In Salento, the nature and landscapes were simply amazing! Mountains, forests, meadows, sky - everything was very beautiful. And so calm. The soul was resting.
Real Colombian coffee!
The main goal of visiting the "nature" of Colombia was a coffee plantation. And when I was looking for a hotel in this region, I came across an interesting offer to see not just a coffee plantation with standard rows of coffee trees, but to become a unique visitor to the so-called "Slow Food" plantation, that is, "slow food", Sacha Mama, where you can not only watch, but also participate in both the collection of coffee and its subsequent preparation and drinking. Actually, this is what decided my future fate.

Two tasks
After getting some information, I had two tasks. The first was to get to Ecuador. This task consisted of several stages: finding a minibus or car to the border, crossing it, and finding a minibus or car to the nearest Ecuadorian city.

Walk around Quito
Finally I got out to look at the capital of Ecuador - the ancient and beautiful city of Quito. It stretches over a huge distance because multi-storey buildings are practically not built here. Living in a mountain valley is not a quiet life on the plain.

Accent
We agreed with the Canadian Martin to go to the center, where he wanted to see the museum of Ecuadorian money. It was interesting there, but afterwards walking around Quito and talking with him also turned out to be no less boring.

Getting ready for school
Having worked to my heart's content, and therefore earned a lot of money (well, not so much, I could even say a bunch) - now I have an opportunity to look for a Spanish language school.

I started going to Spanish language school. My teacher's name is Evgenia.
Again school days at their best
I found myself a Spanish school, Equinox, not far from where I live. I agreed on one week of lessons under the “ONE TO ONE” program for a couple of hours (there simply wasn’t enough money for more) with teacher Evgenia.

Handicraft market
Satisfied and sleepy slowly I've gathered at the famous local handicraft market. On this day all, even the main streets of the city of Otavalo became trade rows. The cars drove around.
Culture shock
I slept almost all day, and in the evening I decided to take a short walk and, in addition to vegetables and fruit ice, I came across a puppet show in the central park, which was performed by the national police.
Big city Arequipa
Went to Arequipa. Although the bus was of a lower class, terrible and smelly, I had a panoramic seat, so the ride was interesting: it was like watching a movie with chips.
Mini expedition to Colca Canyon
The canyon is not your typical visit to a museum – you have to get a specialist’s help. At least for me with my current travel experience. Moreover in addition to the canyon, the list of attractions in the area includes an immeasurable number of mountains and volcanoes, a couple of which can be seen directly from the roof of my hostel.
